Where does your organisation actually stand?

And how much room is left on the table?

Structural attractiveness, scored against the ceiling of your own tier. Not against the global icons of the game. The gravitational method reads how hard your organisation pulls on values, innovation, fans and partners.

The Gravitational Method

What creates the pull. And what turns pull into revenue.

Your organisation is the core. The stronger your values and the sharper your goals, the more Gravity Amplifiers you can run — initiatives and projects that create value. Value creation is what pulls fans in, and what turns fan pull into sponsor and media pull. Attention flows back to the core, and that is what you can measure and price.

CORE ATTRACTION ATTENTION VALUES GOALS GRAVITY AMPLIFIERS (VALUE CREATION) FANS SPONSORS & MEDIA YOUR ORGANISATION
  1. 01

    Core

Your organisation as it actually is today: identity, story, who you are for.

  2. 02

    Values

What you stand for, and who you refuse to become. The internal filter every decision goes through.

  3. 03

    Goals

Where you are trying to arrive, derived from your values and your stakeholders. Not a target list. A direction.

  4. 04

    Gravity Amplifiers

The initiatives and projects that create measurable value — for your fans, your city, your sport. This is the layer we score and rank in the diagnostic.

  5. 05

    Fans

The audience your amplifiers pull in and hold: reach, frequency, loyalty, and the depth of the bond.

  6. 06

    Sponsors & Media

The commercial layer that follows fans, not the other way around. Rights value, sponsor renewal, editorial share of voice.

Attraction radiates outward, carried by your values, your goals and the initiatives you run. In return, Attention flows back into the core — and that is what PowerSCOAR reads, PowerBUILDR builds around, and PowerPLAYR keeps running.

01 / Where you stand

Read your actual pull.

Every answer is scored against a live benchmark database of comparable organisations. Calibrated for your sport, your country, and the tier your revenue puts you in. Not a generic maturity model.

Live Benchmark database Built from continuous market scanning and our own benchmark studies. Never from your data.
T1T6 Tier-calibrated ceiling Compared to peers in your revenue tier, not to elite icons of the game
Three Sport, country, scope Every question option is tuned for the three variables that move your ceiling

A diagnosis that does not change what you do on Monday is an expensive opinion. Here is what happened at KK Cibona in Zagreb, in order.

Governance rhythm

Still running today

The rules supplied the sequence. The club supplied the decisions. That distinction matters more than it sounds, because none of this works when the answers arrive from outside.

02 / Who we help

Four buyers. One question.

Where do we actually stand, and what should we fix first? The instrument is the same. What it reveals is not.

Club CEO · Commercial director

Revenue moves with results. Sponsors renew reluctantly and ask for proof.

There's a list of good ideas everybody agrees should happen and none of them have a budget or an owner. You need something cheap and credible you can run this week, and a result you can defend in front of a board without looking like you have hired consultants.

→ What we score for you Commercial growth that is less tied to results.

01 Clubs

League general secretary · Commercial director

Central revenue is concentrated in one or two lines. A media rights cycle is coming.

Member clubs range from professional to amateur, so any programme has to survive that spread. You need evidence it works across member clubs, and benchmarking against comparable leagues rather than the big five.

→ What we score for you A model your member clubs can actually adopt.

02 Leagues

Event director · Promotion owner

The next edition owns the calendar. Nothing carries over except the spreadsheet.

Sponsors are renegotiated every cycle from a standing start. For promotions, growth comes from attention: talent economics, media deals and a young audience that moves fast. You need something that fits in the gap between editions and proves you understand a promotion, not a football club.

→ What we score for you Continuity between editions, not a standing start.

03 Events

Investor · Operating partner

Diligence on an asset, or professionalisation across a portfolio.

You need a value creation plan management can be held to, and the same instrument applied to every asset so results compare across the portfolio. A repeatable, documented method with published logic you can audit at any time.

→ What we score for you One instrument across every asset in the portfolio.

03 / The Method

Sport is the one business where you do not control your own product.

Every spectator sports business runs on the same loop. You earn attention. That attention pays. The revenue leaves you some headroom. You reinvest, and the reinvestment produces the next round of attention.

When the loop is intact, each turn makes the next one easier. When it leaks somewhere, you can add effort every year and stay roughly where you started.

"Unlike other industries where innovation follows predictable patterns, sports organisations must balance technological advancement with authentic fan connection, commercial growth with sporting integrity, and global reach with local community values."

The 10 Rules of Sports Innovation

Four stages in the loop. Three numbers you steer by. You cannot fix a loop you have not measured.

EACH TURN COMPOUNDS 01 ATTENTION You earn attention 02 COMMERCIAL Attention pays HEADROOM not a KPI 03 SPORT You reinvest

Headroom is not a KPI. It is what Commercial creates and Sport spends. That is why we score three KPIs, not four.

Inside the three

Each KPI splits into two.

Six sub-dimensions in total. Every question in the diagnostic maps to one of them. Toggle the edition to see how the KPIs land in your context.

01 Attention Fan Reach, engagement, loyalty, demographic depth Cultural Brand resonance beyond results
02 Commercial Commercial Revenue mix, sponsors, ticketing, merchandising Media Broadcast positioning, owned channels, narrative IP
03 Sport Talent Academy, retention, scouting, sport-science maturity Competitive Infrastructure, governance, multi-season durability
01 Attention Distribution Reach across clubs, markets, calendar coverage Coverage League-level narrative, editorial share of voice
02 Commercial Media Rights value, broadcast partners, streaming Economics Central sponsors, distribution model, club solidarity
03 Sport Governance Format, rules, integrity, club licensing Competitive Balance, calendar quality, multi-season durability
01 Attention Audience On-site reach, community pull, first-party data Gate Ticketing depth, capacity utilisation, yield
02 Commercial Broadcast Production quality, feed partners, on-air value Repeatability Sponsor renewal, edition-on-edition growth
03 Sport Brand Property equity independent of any single edition Operator Delivery capability, safety, venue readiness
01 Attention Audience Reach, event cadence, rivalry storylines Coverage Local presence in target fight markets
02 Commercial Broadcast Media deals, PPV, streaming positioning Economics Purse structure, sponsors, gate
03 Sport Governance Matchmaking, sanctioning, fighter welfare Competitive Roster depth, gym pathway, brand strength
04 / The system

Diagnose. Decide. Operate.

PowerSCOAR diagnoses. PowerBUILDR builds. PowerPLAYR runs. Three tools, one loop.

Live now Step 01 · Diagnose

PowerSCOAR

Diagnoses.

The Fast Lane runs 32 questions in about twenty minutes, anonymous, no signup. The Full Diagnostic runs 150 to 173 questions as a guided workshop under NDA, with a validated score, a heat map of your six sub-dimensions and a ranked set of initiatives grouped by type.

  • Four editions across sports
  • Tier-calibrated ceiling by country, sport, scope
  • Ranked initiatives grouped by type: quick wins, strategy, governance
Coming soon Step 02 · Build

PowerBUILDR

Builds.

Where The 10 Rules of Sports Innovation turn a diagnosis into a strategy someone can execute. Team structure, safety to propose the untried, and the sequence in which initiatives get built. Used as the baseline for the KK Cibona Zagreb programme.

  • Diagnosis into an executable strategy
  • Team and governance around each initiative
  • Ten rules of sports innovation, applied
Coming Q4 2026 Step 03 · Run

PowerPLAYR

Runs.

Runs the engine once it is built. The initiatives you decided on, tracked through pilots and adoption, with the KPI feedback flowing straight into the next diagnostic. The loop closes and you keep the instrument.

  • Pilots, adoption, KPI telemetry
  • Initiative playbooks, end to end
  • Feedback into the next PowerSCOAR run
05 / Published, not proprietary

Almost nobody in this industry publishes their framework, because the secrecy is the pricing power.

Ours is in two books you can buy, and the diagnostic runs live in four editions. You keep the instrument. You can run it again next year without us and find out whether you actually moved.

Ask whoever advises you now to show you theirs.

06 / The founding team

Elite sports innovation. For all.

There was no framework that answered the question, so we wrote one. Three years of building inside clubs, events, leagues and investor portfolios. Powerplay One GmbH is registered in Grünwald (Munich), with a planned branch in Zagreb.
